Role Description
The Network Engineer L2 is responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to network
administration, engineering, troubleshooting, security, and design. This is a full-time on-site role
located in Dubai.

Qualifications:

•  Strong knowledge and experience in network administration and engineering.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Expertise in network security
• Ability to design and implement efficient network solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• in depth understanding and good knowledge of Transmission on Fiber Optics SDH, DWDM, OTN, ASON, ROADM, GPON.
• Fault management.
• Hands On experience in Alcatel (Nokia) OMS 1350, UMS 1350 NMS, NFM-T.
• Alarms monitoring & resolve fault within MTTR.
• Co-ordinate with NOC to resolve alarm & faults.
• Preparation of Daily & Monthly Network Performance reports.
• Co-ordination with Vendor, IRU partner and NOC team, to restore faults within MTTR, and proper execution of plan events for running network smoothly.
• Acceptance test for new links, New NEs.
• Hands on experience in VISIO, MS-office, Power Point.
